COMMUNITY OUTREACH DANCE EDUCATION PROGRAMS

IBC Summer Arts Camp. Since 1996, the USA IBC has conducted a summer arts camp for inner-city youth. Creative movement dance and visual art classes are offered to children ages 5 – 10. The camp offers six weeks of bi-weekly classes and closes with a performance for family and friends. Contact the USA IBC office for enrollment information at 601.355.9853.

CityDance. An after-school dance program sponsored by the USA International Ballet Competition. CityDance provides ballet classes for children ages 7 years old to 10 years old who are also enrolled in the Jackson Public School System. Participants are selected through an audition process held each September.Each year, CityDance adds another class of beginners to the program as skill levels build.
