In addition to the awards that the USA IBC customarily offers, one-season contracts are often awarded at the discretion of company officials attending the competition. Also, the Peggy Mize Fund for the USA IBC presents every finalist in Round III with a cash award of $1,000 to help defray travel expenses. These awards are offered through the Community Foundation of Greater Jackson, and the fund is named in honor of the late Peggy Mize of Jackson.

The Jury of the USA International Ballet Competition reserves the right to withhold any medal and award prizes at its sole discretion. There is no appeal process for the Jury’s decisions. The Grand Prix Award may not be given with any other prize. In the case of a tie, winners will share monetary awards.
