Sue Lobrano
Executive Director

Sue is beginning her 27th year with the USA IBC, and she has served as executive director of the organization since 1986. Sue directs and oversees all operations of the USA IBC, develops the USA IBC budget and is the official spokesperson of the organization. She also supervises office staff, determines volunteer committee needs and represents the USA IBC Board of Directors at sanctioned competitions and international dance meetings around the world. Sue is a former dancer and dance teacher. She taught at the Jackson Ballet under the direction of Thalia Mara and operated her own dance school for 13 years.

Liz Densmore
Director of Public Relations

Liz is responsible for media relations, web content management and advertising at the USA IBC. She writes and disseminates press releases, authors copy for publications and serves as a general editor and copywriter for the organization. In addition, she is responsible for the production of the IBC Pointes newsletter, the event's commemorative program and all other printed pieces regarding the USA IBC. Liz holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi. She is also a member of the Public Relations Association of Mississippi.

Kathy Lyell
General Manager

Kathy serves as the business manager for the USA IBC and is responsible for office facilities and finances. She also manages our online store and general sales for USA IBC commemorative merchandise. In addition, Kathy supervises operations of the International Ballet Association, an organization providing discounted tickets, USA IBC merchandise and other benefits to those who support the USA IBC.

Brooke Wyatt
Artistic Administrator

Brooke is responsible for competitor relations as well as many of the artistic aspects of the International Ballet Competition itself. She also manages the CityDance program and the IBC Summer Arts Camp. Brooke has an extensive ballet background, having been trained at Brenau University, Ballet Mississippi and the USA IBC International Dance School. She also studied with Dame Sonia Arova and Thor Sutowski at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. Wyatt was a company member of the Gainesville Ballet Company and has also danced with several modern dance companies. She holds a bachelor's degree in dance education, and she most recently served on the educational outreach staff of American Ballet Theatre.
