On July 12, 2008, a group of USA IBC medal-winners will gather in Jackson to present a kinetic performance of classical and contemporary ballet. Competition officials are also planning a dazzling post-performance gala party, themed "Glitter and Glitz," to be held at Jackson’s Capital Club to mark this exciting reunion performance.

Although the program is subject to change, dancers scheduled to appear at IBC Reunion Gala 2008 include Wu Haiyan (2002 Senior Gold Medalist), Joseph Phillips (2002 Junior Gold Medalist), Rasta Thomas (1998 Senior Gold Medalist), Adrienne Canterna (1998 Junior Gold Medalist), Brooklyn Mack (2006 Senior Silver Medalist), Igor Antonov (1994 Senior Bronze Medalist), Marina Antonova (1994 Senior Silver Medalist), Misa Kuranago (2006 Senior Gold Medalist), Jeffrey Cirio (2006 Junior Bronze Medalist), Yury Yanowsky (1994 Senior Silver Medalist), Yui Yonezawa (2006 Senior Bronze Medalist), Ramon Moreno (1994 Junior Bronze Medalist) and Yang Zou (performing Giselle with Wu Haiyan).

Tickets to the performance, which begins at 7:30 p.m. at Thalia Mara Hall, and tickets to the "Glitter and Glitz" post-performance party will available through the USA IBC office beginning May 27.

IBC Reunion Gala 2008 Master Dance Classes

A series of Classical Ballet and Jazz workshops will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 in conjunction with IBC Reunion Gala 2008. Advanced level dancers ages 14 and up are invited to participate in the classes, which will be instructed by USA IBC medalists.
