USA IBC DANCE SCHOOL – June 12-27, 2010

The USA IBC Dance School, held in conjunction with the USA International Ballet Competition, provides an opportunity for intermediate and advanced level students to study with some of the world’s leading teachers and to attend exciting performances of the USA International Ballet Competition. A two-week session is offered for students ages 12 and up in intermediate and advanced levels who have had a minimum of four consecutive years of ballet training. The curriculum includes ballet technique, pointe and variations; jazz, modern, contemporary and character. Additional activities are planned for students’ free time to introduce them to the unique culture and friendly people of Mississippi.

Scholarship Auditions
Saturday, March 27, 2010
Auditions will be held at on the 2nd Floor of the Bitsy Irby Visual Arts and Dance Center on the Campus of Belhaven University.

Audition Times:
Ages 12 to 14 audition from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Ages 15 & Up audition from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
*Registration for both age groups begins one hour prior to audition.
Ladies, come prepared with ballet& pointe shoes, pink tights and black leotard.
Men, come prepared with ballet shoes, black tights and white leotard or shirt.
