Richard Finkelstein

Richard Finkelstein, Official Photographer

Finkelstein is a prolific artist in many genres. As a photographer, his work has been exhibited in a number of galleries including The SoHo Gallery in New York City. His portfolio of photos from the 2002 USA IBC was featured in Dance Magazine, and his work graces the cover of the new edition of the text Acting is Believing. As a designer in the theatre, he designed last fall’s Off-Broadway premiere of the new musical Orphan Train. He also designed scenery for the new musical A Tale of Cinderella, which was featured on PBS, and was invited to exhibit his designs at the first World Stage Design Exposition last spring in Toronto. Todd Lechtick

Todd Lechtick, Official Photographer

Lechtick has been photographing dance since the early 1980s. He has taken pictures at every USA IBC since 1986, and he returns to the 2010 competition as an official photographer. He also photographed Moscow’s International Ballet Competition in 1989 and the Ballet Festival in Havana, Cuba in 2004. Lechtick has captured images at American Ballet Theatre, the Bolshoi Ballet (their London tour in 1989) and the Kirov Ballet. He was the official photographer for the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo reunion in New Orleans in 2000, and he is a contributing photographer for Pointe and Dance Magazine. He currently serves as the official photographer for the Russian Ballet Archives in Los Angeles, California.
