Andrew Bucci (1922-2014) was one of Mississippi’s most celebrated visual artists and served as the official artist of the 2014 USA International Ballet Competition. In the 1950s, Bucci began creating Christmas cards while a student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Over the following decades, his delightfully imaginative depictions of the Three Wise Men following the Star of Bethlehem became cherished keepsakes of family members and friends — each a small masterpiece embodying the timeless allure of his singular modernist style.
